On October 16, 2016, Ximedica’s Susan Dacey will be recognized as a 2016 Adult Honoree at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s (CCFA) Take Steps RI Walk on October 16th in Providence. For years, Sue suffered with mysterious symptoms until she was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at the age of 26. After many painful surgeries, procedures and various forms of treatments, Sue has learned to manage the disease and finds hope in advocating for others who live with it.
About Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis:
Take Steps is a family friendly community walk dedicated to raising awareness and mission-critical funds for cures for digestive diseases. Since the launch of this program, they have succeeded in bringing together more than 250,000 people and raised more than $75 million to help further CCFA’s mission.
