Ximedica Visits Sophia Academy for STEM Activity

On Wednesday, January 18th several Ximedica engineers visited Sophia Academy in Providence, RI, where they led the group of fifth graders in a STEM activity. The goal of the activity was to create a “Secret Treasure Box” by connecting circuits to trigger an alarm when opened. The girls were given several materials and had a limited time to complete the activity. The group had a great time exploring the fundamentals of engineering while interacting with the enthusiastic Ximedica women. Check out some pictures from the activity below!
