PROVIDENCE, R.I.- September 10, 2013 – Ximedica announced today the addition of Elizabeth Roche, formerly of frog Design (Munich) to its organization. Elizabeth possesses robust expertise in design research and the application of research findings to experience design and design strategy. Elizabeth brings experience with complex medical systems, consumer hygiene products and a deep global perspective stemming from research she conducted in emerging markets as well as years living and working in Europe.
“Elizabeth’s international experience in design research further builds on our research capability around the globe in creating market appropriate products and complements the Human Factors Engineering team well.” states Aidan Petrie, Chief Innovation Officer & Co-Founder.
Says Roche, “My expertise resides in making the customer and end-user insights I discover digestible and actionable - by that I mean that 30 slides of bullet points won’t convey what we experienced in the streets of Cairo post-revolution, nor is a 10 page text document going to help designers create more intuitive software for specialists in Holland. I look forward to applying this same thinking to innovation and development at Ximedica.”
In addition to her most recent role as Principal Director at frog where she oversaw research across its European studios, Roche has previously held usability experience design roles at Sprint and Siemens.
