Ximedica will be hosting the Design for Medical Devices HE75 Standard Regional Review at their HQ in Providence, RI on July 21, 2010. Steve Wilcox and Michael Wiklund will be leading the review and a Q&A session at the end of the evening.
Kat Darula, Director of Design Research, will be co-presenting with Dr. Mary Reich Cooper, Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer of Lifespan Hospitals at the World Congress Leadership Summit on Process Improvement and Business Excellence in Healthcare. They will be discussing a recent collaborative project which brought Human Factors Engineering into use to mitigate risk for wrong site surgery.
