Rick Beaulieu, VP of Research and Development

Rick has eighteen years of medical, commercial, industrial and aerospace product development experience involving new product concepts, development and testing, cost analysis, vendor selection, and production introduction. Prior to joining Ximedica, Rick worked at GE Aircraft Engines where he graduated from their Advanced Course in Engineering and was responsible for new product design of turbine hardware. He also was the engineering manager at AEC-Nelmor, a capital equipment manufacturer that specializes in custom plastic recycling systems. Additionally, Rick worked as the engineering manager and program leader for Keurig Premium Coffee Systems, a start-up where he guided a new product from the architecture and design stages through prototyping, testing, and refinement, and into production.  Rick has been awarded ten utility patents and has other patent applications pending. He received a BSME from Northeastern University and an MSME from Boston University.
