David Robson, VP of Development

Dave's extensive experience in medical device product development and design of both disposable and capital equipment, enables him to find new client business, structure contracts and to act as client advocate within the design and development process. Prior to this position, Dave was the Director of R&D of Item New Product Development for 6 years. Before joining Item, he held director-level positions and other management roles in the medical device community including Niche Medical, Genzyme Biosurgery, Deknatel, and DHD Healthcare. His experience in a wide cross section of job responsibilities, clinical settings and treatments as well as a wide variety of product technologies has been a key asset in his ability to speak credibly with prospective clients about their product challenges. Dave received a BSME from the University of Rochester.
