Dan Reifsteck, CEO

Prior to joining Ximedica, Dan spent 10 years with AGFA Healthcare, formerly Heartlab, a leading provider of Cardiovascular Imaging and Informatics solutions.  Most recently Dan worked as the Head of Global Services for IT Solutions for Agfa.  While in this role Dan was responsible for establishing strategy, business objectives and key performance indicators for their international Healthcare IT Services Business making up more than 500 M in revenue with over 1900 Service FTEs.  Throughout his tenure at Heartlab, Dan held a variety of positions including, VP of Global Cardiology Business, COO, VP of Engineering Operations, and Director of Quality & Regulatory Affairs.

Prior to Joining Heartlab, Dan worked as a Scientist/Engineer at SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) a leading systems, solutions and technical services company, where he helped to develop systems for integrated hydrographic data acquisition and participated in the TWA 800 recovery effort.

Dan graduated with a degree in Biology from Ithaca College and received his masters degree from the University of Rhode Island.

He also spent 2 years in the Peace Corps after college working as a Marine Fisheries Scientist.
